Is AI right for my business?
Maybe not everywhere. On our first call I'll tell you where it fits, and where plain software or no software is the better call.
Is my data safe?
I design AI features to keep your data in accounts you control, use providers' business terms, and keep a person checking anything that matters.
What about ongoing AI costs?
Model usage costs money. For a website assistant, the default model is Sonnet 5.5 and usage is a flat monthly tier: AI Starter is $29 a month for up to 150 chats, AI Standard is $79 a month for up to 600 chats, and AI Pro is $199 a month for up to 2,000 chats. Over the cap is $0.10 per extra chat, billed the next month, and I'll give you a heads-up at 80% of your cap. Assistants that need a premium model like Opus are quoted custom. For a custom AI build, usage is billed at provider cost plus 50%. I build with cost limits and monitoring, and I'll estimate monthly usage before we start.
Do you work with companies outside Omaha?
Yes. Most of my work is remote. I'm happy to meet in person around Omaha.
Can you lead and build at the same time?
Often, yes. For a very small team, I can set direction and write some of the code. We'll agree up front on how my time splits.
Who owns what you build?
You do. Code, content, accounts, prompts, and documentation belong to your company.
What does it cost?
Starting prices are listed above. You'll get a written, fixed quote before any build starts. Paid audits are credited toward the work if you go ahead.
